I frequently run scripts to automate tasks on my PC (running XP). e.g. some of these scripts open up MS Word and automatically create some Word documents.

Unfortunately, McAfee always stops these scripts with a pop-up that says "A Suspicious Script Has Been Detected".

How do I turn this off, at least for the duration of running my scripts?

Thanks!

there doesn't appear to be anything ont he kb for it, but I'd suggest turning off script scan, as a good place to start. Youc an find it int he VirusScan Console > On-Access Scanner > ScriptScan.
This only applies to version 8.0i

let me know how you get on, and if this doesn't work, please let me the version you're running
