How to disable Macros???

Hi, i have a strange problem, every time that i wanna open a .doc file it opens a VB proyect and Word, in this order, i was custumed to every file that has macros in it when you first opened it shows a box to enable o disable macros but this doesnt happened at this time, so any one know how to fix this?
