I have an issue where some how a few computers on my network are gettings some DNS issues. They cannot map to any network drives connect to any proxy servers, however they can ping phyical IP address. In Windows 2k there was an option to "Do not use IPSec" under the advanced TCP/IP Settings in IPSecurity. Once I moved it from moved it back to the "Do not use IPSec" button, everyting worked again. I don't know how that got turned on but, but turning it off seemed to fix it. That was on Windows 2K. It is not available on Windows XP and I'm running into the same problem. Any help would be great. Thanks

Click Start Button, Run, type in services.msc, click OKAY. It should be in there, disable it.
