That is an option in the user rights to the local machine. Unfortunately, I am not sure exactly where that is. I am sure that someone else in these forums will come up with an answer you can actually use!
Log on as administrator and go into the local user manager. Click "policies, User Rights" and you can set the permissions for setting the date/time. Or you could synchronize using net time in the login script.
I want to use the local machines to keep accurate time. I am considering using a log to compute hours worked. I would synchronize time with a central server connected to an accurate time source.
If you are using NT, you can sync the workstation time with the server time using the NET TIME /? command, which can be added to the login script. Unfortunately, the workstation (user) has to have permissions to change the clock. I am not sure how you can have both.
