OS : Windows XP
I was trying to repair XP with the XP/SP2 CD
Now with every reboot I get presented with a menu (2 choices)
1. Windows XP home
2. XP setup
and the default is XP setup and if I wait to long it try to run setup which it fails of course, so I have to go back to be able to select XP home.

How can I correct this problem.
Thanks

If this is windows XP, why exactly are you posting this in the windows 98 forum?

Try the XP forum here: forum779

But for a direct answer, If you can boot into Home, right Click My computer, Click Properties, Advanced, Startup and Recovery, Edit. Delete the line that references XP setup, save and close.

Then un-check the box that reads: "time to Display list of Operating Systems" O.k your way out and reboot.
