What happend? Suddenly Access 2000 makes AUTOMATIC links between my parent- and subforms. I'm synchronizing these subforms manually in the code; but everytime this is done, Access automatically links the id-fields. How can I disable this bevahior? (Worked fine yesterday)

Appreciate aaany hints

I'm guessing but I think that if you go to the database window and go to the Tools menu go to the table/queries tab make sure that the check box Enable autojoin is disabled. Post a note to let me know if that resolved the issue.

Thanks! I found what you meant, and it *looks* like it should work this way. ... Unfortunately.... it doesn't! I'm still getting these automatic linkchildfields, etc... :((

Still don't why this happened. But the easiest solution was to set the linkchildfield="" and linkmaster="" right after the manual querying.

Thanks for your help!
