How to disable a planning application?

Hi,
some of our cognos planning applications became old and the users are no longer using it. But, they might need it in the future so, we don't want to delete or remove the applications but we do want to make it off-line so that they cannot see those apps under

http://server/congos/contributor/planning02.asp

page. Is there any option in contributor administration to disable or make the applications off-line for some time?

Any suggestion would be greately helpful.

Rightclick app in the CAC and select remove aplication.

If in the future you want it back, rightclick the appstore and click "link to existing application".

If the above does not feel comfortable, backup the app database before running the steps.
