How to direcrt talk/text bubbles?

hi,

is there a way to drag out a talking bubble/text bubble from the custom shape but be able to control the "pointer" afterwards (part that points the person/item speaking.

can that also be done in Indesign?

Illustrator?

I've seen a similar kiddy program where you drag out the talking bubble and if it needs readjustment, it can be done inlcuding the pointer which can be dragged for different position.

...if you ensure the bubble is a shape layer or path you can adjust the points with the direct select tool (shift + A), then click on the path to adjust the points required...

You could also download the TALK BUBBLE FONT for free, then rasterize the font any color/ shape you want. Then place words over it. It works just was well and it's faster.
