How to diagnose Software Program errors

Currently have errpt e-mailed to me if anything of an error pops up. Currently the following this morning:

Looking at the problem. Something happened to the qdaemon. My question is. How do a do a problem determination from the info provided ? Is this something I should worry about. The problem happened @ 03:01:44 this morning. Currently we have morning reports print out during this period. But nothing has been changed with these.

Forgot to add:

Using AIX 4.3.3 on ML 9
All printers bar one is using HP JetDirect the other is set-up as being a remote. BUt the remote is never used in the morning.

Tried searching the IBM website for the Identifier and Label within the message. But get zilch back.

Has anyone any ideas where else I can search for this problem ?

Hi!

I ran into the same-lookink problem, except the last line of the message. There was no qdaemon, but rpc.lockd and rpc.statd.

On an other forum I succeed to find some info: there a /etc/resolv.conf correction solved the problem. But I have correct config file. And I also have ML11 installed.

Do you have any further idea?
