How to determine # of weeks between dates

Any suggestions how to calculate number of weeks between dates, allowing for the dates to span years. Thanks in advance for your help!
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
SELECT trunc((endDate - startDate)/7)
FROM ...

or

FullWeeks := trunc((endDate - startDate)/7);
