how to determine monthly usage

I am using windstream dsl. Does anybody know of any way I can determine what my monthly usage is? I checked the windstream site and I can not find any utilities or anything in the biling details or anywhere that I can find out how much traffic I actually have through my dls. Im thinking about a Verizon Aircard that has a 5gb monthly limit and I am just curious if I use more than 5gb a month through my dsl.

My dsl comes in to a linksys wireless router but I cant find any stats in the router either.
