Hi
Just tried to install a tool called Pro-Clarity & it says I need to be on AS sp2 or higher to continue.

I installed sp4 this morning with no probs as far as I could tell. Is there somewhere I can look to find out the installed SP?

Thanks

For SQL Server run this select SERVERPROPERTY('ProductLevel')
For Analysis Services see below

locate the msmdsrv.exe file in the Microsoft Analysis Services\Bin folder and then right-click this file to get the version information from the Properties dialog box. If the file version is 8.00.760, you have applied SP3.

Because you service pack SQL does not mean you service pack AS. Analysis Services has it's own SP to run. Remember AS and MS SQL are not one product so when fixing one doesn't mean you fix the other. On way to possibly tell the sp level without having to memorize file versions is to look in the registry.
