How to determine amount of RAM for an application?

Hi all,

Anyone know of a way to accurately determine the amount of RAM necessary and recommended for a VB app you are creating? Are there tools (perhaps within Visual Studio) that will perform estimate RAM usage?

Right now, I am guesstimating by running the Task Manager in Windows 2000 while running the application to see how much memory is being consumed.

Any other ideas?

There used to be a VB5 code profiler, but I don't know if it would monitor memory usage and I can't seem to find evidence of a VB6 version.

I think there is a way to have performance data logged under Win2K and then you might process the log files afterward to find what the max usage was.

This seems a reasonable request to me though. Too bad I have no answers. Sorry. Thought I did at first!
