Hi!
I made an application based upon XP-classic.
I left out borders from textboxes.
Now some users do like to use the 'XP' way of using the screen. That way my taxt-boxes without border are not that clear as they should.
Therefore I want to toggle the border depending on XP<>Classic.

Any suggestions?

TIA
-Bart

Have a look at the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\Advanced\ClassicViewState, which should be 1 for Classic view, 0 otherwise

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply but the key you are referring to is not on my machine.

Ah, on my machine it is
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\ClassicViewState
