How to detect whether an ocx or dll file is registered or not in VB

Good day Programmers!

Its like this. I'm trying to create a program in VB6 that can register an ocx files to a certain unit. But before that I want to detect whether a certain ocx file was already registered, so that I don't need to register it again. Is that possible? How?
