How to design date interval enter box at prompt manager!

As title, I need a date interval(ex. 20050801~20050831) report entering by user.In a word, while report was opening(in improptu 6),users can enter the date interval condition they like.
I see the help, just see the one condition, how to design this prompt manager items!!!
