Hi,

I am new to the crystal report server. I am trying to publish my report .rpt file to the tomcat web server. I don't see anything like called "report upload wizard". I looked tomcat server it asks .war file to upload. I checked wdeploy and copied .rpt file workdir under wdeploy directory and run it. It seems nothing is happening before I run it. It shows java.io.IOException: Access is denied. I am the local admin of the serve. Kindly ask how I publish my .rpt report onto the web server?

Thanks in advance,

Melissa

You've written a report in Crystal, and now want to publish it to Crystal Server, right?

There are several ways to do this, but the easiest is from within Crystal Reports. Choose Save As, then in the left hand column you'll see an icon titled Enterprise.

When you click that, you'll be prompted to log into Crystal Server. Once logged in, you'll see the folder structure of your Crystal Server and you can select the appropriate folder.

Note that you'll have to edit the database configuration for the report in the Central Management Console before you can successfully schedule the report.

I wrote a report in Crystal report 2008 and want to publish it to the Crystal report server 2011. I followed the above steps,it works!!!

Thank you so much,

Melissa
