I'm trying to delete / remove a database / server connection from within the Data View (lower right-hand corner of screen, has a yellow cylinder picture next to it). The only two options that right-clicking on one of these things gives are "refresh" and "Properties", and I don't see any other way to delete them. (the delete key doesn't work). No help in MSDN Library either....

Thanks in advance,
Ray

You need to delete the related 'connection' - as set up in the global.asa. Expand the global.asa in the project explorer, and you should see a connection that you must have made before. Right click this, and delete will be available.
The Data View simply shows the information available to each of the connections established via the global.asa DataEnvironment connections. You may find it helpful to create a 'dummy' project, simply so you can use the Data View for editing stored procedures & triggers (via Source Safe, if you feel brave!).

Thanks Merlin.. They could have mentioned it in the MSDN about this. Seems they forgot. Or I should be searching badly.

Thanks!

RR
