Hi,

I'm running exchange on a machine that's getting low on diskspace. I have noticed that (due to some exchange problems) our log files have taken on enormous proportions. Is there anyway I can remove a number of log-files without damaging our mail-system?

Run Exchange optimiser first - it usually helps. repost if it does not help sufficiently.

are you running with circular logging???? if not are the backups working??? failing that run eseutil to identify the last log that was sucessfully committed and binanything older than it. This is a bit crude.....if you've got a nice big drive that isn't being used, do as suggested and reoptimise, moving the logs to the new location!!!

where do i get exchange optimiser...Zelandakh???

you can run the optimiser from the same program group Exchange Admin is on. Failing that go to the exchange binaries directory (exchsrvr/bin) and run perfwiz.exe.

hope that helps
