hello

My mdf file used to have a Module called mod_ProcessData, but I deleted it. But, ever though this module is no longer visible in the Module Window, it still appears in the Object Browse's list of Classes.

Now I want to IMPORT a module of the same name (for consistency with other files), but I get error message "Name conflicts with existing module, project, or object library".

Is there any way to clear this 'orphaned' entry from ObjectBowser/Classes?

I think the easiest would be to create a new database and import all of your database objects into that (good practice always).

Did you try a compact/repair ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanks for responding MajP and PHV. Well, I'd already imported all of the objects into a 'fresh' mdb file, and that worked fine. Before that, though, I had done a Compact/Repair, and I also opened up another module and Compiled the code. Basically, I was just trying to understand what might have caused the 'orphaned' entry in the Object Browser/Classes list in case I was doing something improperly.
