How To Delete an email with a huge attachment

One of my users received a big email with a large attachment. A couple of questions:
1) Can I stop this email or delete it?
2) Can I skip over it?

What can be done about this in the future?

Yes, the e-mail and its attachment can certainly be deleted.

If you're running MS Exchange, you should be able to limit the maximum size of attachments and messages that each user's mailbox can accept.
