How to delete Add-ons from Internet Explorer

Hi, when I try to go to a webpage the Internet explorer loads another page that asks to download an antivirus; so I think the problems is from the add-ons because there are many which I donot know how they got there. I can disable them, but I would like to delete them (the suspicious ones)
and my question is how to clear the add-ons from the Internet Explore

Hi,
Under the Tools menu, select 'Manage Add-Ons'...(IE7 and similar in other versions)

There you can disable and/or delete those you do not recognize as needed and safe.

Also do a full virus/spyware scan - that behavior is often a malware program in action.
