I need to implement a user management and therefore I have to define some SecurityRoles. For installation reasons I don't use any GUI tools. I added a definition of a security role to the standard application deployment descriptor (as far as I can see, the assembly tool does the same).
After I deployed the application I want to assign users the my defined security role. Regrettably the tools e.g. WSCP know nothing about a defined security-role.
Does anyone know if additional definitions are needed to define a security role for an application ???
