Hi

every time I export something from my Access 97 database, I have hardcode the path (e.g. C:\Database\file.xls), which is not reliable in the scenario when the database is moved from that hardcoded drive and folder.

Is there way to use anything like [machine]\[drive]\[folder]...in Access 97?

Thanks

Hi

Yes you can build the path in code eg:

Path = "\\" & strMachine & "\" & strFolder
