We require to call a DLL but we cannot establist the syntax for ??????? where the information is in a Comma delimited TXT file WE WISH TO PASS TO THE DLL ??? Is it STRING ??? IF it is STRING what is the syntax for the = EXECUTE(XXXXXXX) COMMAND.

Also what is the syntax for the EXECUTE COMMAND

WE are struggling and would appreciate some assistance.

Can you post the DLL function declaration here. How we should know what you are expected to pass to DLL function w/o seeing the declaration? Also can you post the problem code here.

VicGarra,

To be honest, I'm not surprised you're struggling. You say you "cannot establish the syntax for ???????" What on earth do you mean by that?

And you ask for the syntax of the "EXECUTE COMMAND". Is that a command named EXECUTE? Or is it some other construct named EXECUTE COMMAND? Either way, it's not VFP syntax, so presumably it's something specific to the DLL you are using.

If you could try to explain your problem in terms that others can understand, I'm sure we'll be able to help.

Mike
