I know this must be really simple, but I just can't seemd to be able to do it! How do you cut/copy an image from a frame - and paste it into another one?

Thanks again!

Thanks Marcus, that works, but what that really does is pastes one picture frame into another one.

Is there anyway to cut/copy an image from on frame, and then place it within another? (without copying the image AND the frame)

Use the content tool (or whatever it's called in ID), the white arrow. That selects the picture inside the box, and should paste into correctly.

To clarify, select the white arrow, click the original picture (you'll see the whole picture with a brown outline), then click the new box and paste into.

Erm... select the Direct Selection tool (the white arrow), click in the original picture (you'll see the brown outline), COPY, then click the new box and paste into. :)

Yeah, I forgot to mention you have to be on the white arrow tool.

The Difference between the white and black arrows are:

The Black arrow will select groups, ie. if the have a picture in a box like you have then the black arrow will select both, because it's a group.

The White arrow will select single objects within a group, ie it will let you select the picture (brown box) or the frame (blue box).

I always use the white arrow tool when selecting, if I need to select a group I hold down the option key with the white arrow tool (which will act like the black arrow tool for as long as I've got the option key held down)
