how to create user in lotus notes R5

how do i create users in lotus notes,when i add a person in the address book and then connect through lotus mail it give me a error message person not added in the address book.
how can i add a person and access the mail

You need to use the Register Option. Atleast this is how I do it. Enter in all their information and this will properly create a users account.
