How do you create space between an image and text in Report Studio?

J

You can do this by inserting a Block between them (assuming that you have some kind of frame or table in place)

Thanks trevwoody,

I'll give that a try. Will inserting a block also be translated as space when the file is saved as PDF format?

Hi trevwoody,

I place a table and in it I placed a logo and on another cell 3 levels down I place a text field. So on cell 2 below the logo I placed a block but no space was showing when I ran the report?

For now what I've done is insert HTML item and inside it write <br><br> to create space. However, this is not visible when the report is saved as PDF.
How do I make a space compatible with HTML and PDF versions.

As you've found, blocks/table cells at their default settings will collapse if empty. However, you should be able to get the results you want in html and pdf by specifying a size (height and/or width) for the block or cell.

forgot to mention, setting a margin on the appropriate side of the text and/or image should also do the trick.

almeids,

Thanks for your answer, it did the job!!
;-)
Put in the block and specified the size and it worked.
Thank you very much.
