how to create prompts????

Hi folks,

How to create prompts and how to impliment it in reports.I created promts from desktop and it was not effected in actual report. Please focus light on this and let me know. This is urgent for me.

What are you prompting on and have you added it to the filtering section of the report?

As a last resort could you try reading the manual?
