Hello all,

I am needing some kind of direction on how to create output and input forms in Access.

I know nothing about Visual Basic, however, I am needing to create Tables and Forms to store the data into Access.

My question is this...if I just import the external data from Visual Basic into Access will this build Tables and Fields for me and then I can go back and create Forms for each Table? or will I have to create Tables in Access before importing the data from Visual Basic.

I am trying to find the best way to tackle this project.

I am using Access 2007. Thank you in advance for your help.

Visual Basic itself doesn't have the capacity to store data (beyond internal variables), files, tables contain data and are accessible from VB where it can display the data.

Where is the data coming from? Providing it's a valid datasource then...

Import external data will create the fields and tables for you and you could even use the forms wizard to create the forms (so you'll have to touch as little of the Access backend VBA as possible).
