I am currently using Mas90 3.06 version. My goal is creating a new company with the identical info as the old company. However, there are certain info I do not want to transfer from the old to the new company. Information such as certain inventories, accounts payable or receivable, and etc that I do not want to transfer to the new company. I there a best and easiest way to solve this problem? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Here is how I have did it before.

Copy the company using the program SUDATA.

In Library Master -> Utilities -> File Analysis and Repair find the option to Reinitilize data files. Initialize any files in the new company that you do not want to contain data from old company.

After this you should find options to
1.) Rebuild key files
2.) Analize and relink line files.
3.) Rebuild application sort files.

You should to the above 3 steps for each module in the new company to be on the safe side.

I'm using an older Unix version (Mas90 3.21 C/S for SCO Unix) your version may differ a little bit.
