how to create matrix report to display daily details

Hi,
I am trying to create a report which is having
parameters STARTDATE and ENDDATE.
For example if STARTDATE=01-Feb-07 and ENDDATE=10-Feb-07,
then we have to show the details in the report like "SYS_ID,PART,02/01,02/02,02/03,02/04,02/05,02/06/,02/07,02/08,02/09,02/10"

Basing on startdate and enddate these date coulmns will change.Now I am going to display the no.of entries under each date ,for a perticular sys_id and for a perticular part.

Could you please help me to design this report
