How to create/generate XML control file to upload huge of documents from local disk into Livelink?

We've OI/OE already installed but I don't know how to great/generate xml control file to upload them. User is provided me the uploaded information in excel table eg, Physical file name and location path, category/attributes name and value. target folder location in Livelink.
Please help.

Usually when you click Alt+f11 in excel you get a programming ide
What you will do is some creative programming with excel using vba
the aim is to dynamically generate xml syntax for the load file.
I usually do this with access taking all the excel info into a access db
I have provided a sample access database replete with code that takes stuff and makes
it into OI that many in the livelink world use and thank me for.
If you would like to do this with excel macros then let me know I may have code for
doing that but unfortunately excel is very inferior in doing this and
will have problems above 65536 rows.

If you indicate your preference I can put links to any of the methods. One thing is for certain
the code just creates text(xml) files which any programming language or script can do.I will not be able to help you with programming for your set of data that is for you to do your own research.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
