How to create code to use the 2nd CO Line from phone

Hi,

I have a Panasonic PABX KX-TDAXX Model also i have already prefix 9 to use the CO line

Also i need to create a separate code to access 2nd CO line is it possible & how can i do this can someone guide me pls

Set up different trunk groups for the lines and use 8 + trunk group

Put the second CO line in a different trunk group. E.G Trunk group 2 and use 8 + 2 to get that line.

8 + 1 Trunk group 1
8 + 2 Trunk group 2

Trunk group is two digits so you dial 802.

You could delete an unused lead digit and (7 is gateway trunk access so rarely useed) add to quick dial and tell it to dial 802. Then 7 will be your second trunk access code

What does "I have a Panasonic PABX KX-TDAXX Model" refer to, if you have a TES model?

On a TES the lines are default into co line groups ie line 1 co group 1 line 2 co group 2.

To dial line 1 dial 81 to dial out on line 2 dial 82
