Ddiamond.
There is an IBM document on this:
DB2 UDB for AS/400 SQL Programming.
It is a PDF. I do not know the exact file name, but in our library it is:
DB2_SQL_Pgmming.pdf (don't know if someone renamed it..)
There is a whole chapter on creating UDF's in there..

Ties,
I was not able to find a similar file in our documentation. Do you know if this can be downloaded from IBM? I also did a google search but was not able to find a match on title. Do you know the author or editor? I assume the publisher is IBM.

It is document no. RBAF-Y000-00.
Unfortunately it is a V4 document, so not downloadable anymore from IBM's site (it is not a redbook)
