How to create agent in Notes 5.0 mailgroup via Notes 4.5

My employer has a lot of users on Lotus Notes.
Many of them still on Notes 4.5 and the newer ones on Notes 5.

We make use of mailbox linked to an external emailaddress. Within these groups agents are created to forward a mail with an incorporated link to the original message, to a workloadbalancer that needs to handle the request.

When the mailgroups are created as a 4.5 database everything works as expected. But in the newest mailboxes that are created in notes 5 we can create the agents but they don't seem to give any result.
Any Tip how to solve this is helpfull.

What Notes client are you using and when ?

Generally, it is better to use the same client version as the server for which you are working on.

If the client version is not the issue, then you might wish to check the R5 Agent help data in the Designer's Help. If you have already done that, I would counsel that you check the Notes forums here, or here.
