How to create a user alias?

Hello, all!
My question is : is it possible to create a user alias (e.g. of my user name), so that I could log in and have all file permissions equal for both user names?

You can create another user with the same UID, but it may have unforseen consequences. Nobody is using it so programmers don't expect it. Better be careful. Try to use groups instead.
