I am trying to create a Simple Logon Script Just to learn the process of creating a logon Script.I created a batch file name logon.bat and placed the batch file in c:|winnt|sysvol|Domain NAme|Script|Login.Bat. I also specified the above path to the login script Directory in Active Directory USER, PROFILE LOGIN SCRIPT.What Im I doing wrong the users are still unable to run the login script.

Thanks

The correct path to place your .BAT file should be:

%systemroot%\sysvol\sysvol\domain.xxx\policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\user\scripts\logon

Also, you said:

***I also specified the above path to the login script Directory in Active Directory USER, PROFILE LOGIN SCRIPT***

you don't neet to type the full path to the file, you can type only the name of your .BAT file since the .BAT file is inside the sysvol folder, which is shared and it's also part of replication when you have other DC's on your network.

let us know if this worked.
