I want to create a shadow effect like it is done on this site seperating each section. How would I do this using css? I am assuming this is being done using that

On most sites it is done with an image. An effect created in Photoshop.

You can use styles/filters to achieve the same. It renders slowly on old computers, doesn't work in all browsers, and can be very fiddly - only really used on overlapping DHTML elements such as translucent pulldown menus &c.
