How to create a Parallel Routine and use it in a transformer

Hi,
I need to create a Parallel routine using C program and then call it in a transformer. Although I am able to create a simple C routine, compile it and see the same in the Parallel Routine, I am not able to call the same in the transformer.
I did the required as per the documentation but yet no results. May be i am missing something somewhere.
It would be of great help if any one can suggest some ways to figure out this issue.
