how to create a new MSI

I want to replace a print request software for a plotter that we have on our network. The print request needs to be installed on all pc’s (windows XP SP2). I want to create an msi so that I can deploy it using a GPO.

I searched online but could not find a way to create new .msi file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try WinInstall LE, i think version 7(WinInstall LE 2000) was the last freeware version but it works fine. here is link to the software and a forum to help out with questions.

Actually WinINSTALL LE 2003 was free for quite a while then they change it and started to charge, you can still download the fee version here.
