How to create a cron job

Hi all,
This may not really be the best title for this but I have a messaging (SMS) portal. The ideas is that people using the site should be able to send messages instantly and also schedule their sms to run at a later time (if they so desire); say 5:30pm tomorrow for instance.
I just dont know what to do right now

cron jobs have nothing to do with asp.net. You could have a web ui to assist with scheduling jobs, but actually running the jobs should be handled by a windows service.

as for a scheduling framework. I have read about Castle.Scheduler and used Quartz.Net. There don't seem to be many other scheduling frameworks for .net out there. at least not OSS.

the docs are always a good place to start: Quartz.Net, Castle Scheduler
Download the source code, review the unit tests and sample projects. Spike a simple use case to get a feel for using the framework. If you have questions specific to the framework post to their respective forums. Both use Google Groups.
