How to count the records per group

How to count the records per group ?
I have grouped our customers per department.
How do I count the customers per department and display this number in the group-section ?

I already found the way to do it.
I've created a formula-field an used this to insert a summary.

You don't need a formula. Right click on the customer field->insert summary->count or distinctcount (if a customer appears more than once).
