I have an excel file which I have experienced two problems when I e:mail(the attached file) to other co-workers as follows:

1. One of the users indicated that the "insert comments" option did not display upon opening the attached Excel file. Note: I used the "insert comments" option on over 10 cells or which I can see when I open the "sent files".

2. I was unable to unprotect the worksheet by using the "password" that I thought I had created. Is there a way to disable a password?

This issue seems to only occur after e:mailing an excel attachment.

Thanks for any help.

Hi wec43wec,

The comment display in an Excel workbook is controlled by the user's settings under Tools|Options|View.

As for the password, did you check your copy of the file?

Cheers
