Good day all,

My problem is very simple. How do I copy paste of a Paradox table (or records there of) which is open in Paradox and paste the content AND header names in Excel.

The table header do not copy along with the table content. Why?

I do not want to save the table in Excel first and then open it because of the way I have organized my working procedures.

Your help would be very appreciated.

Thank you.

Ok Tony,

Are you saying that in doing a copy/paste of data from a Paradox table to an Excel spreadsheet (and assuming that the user does not want the data to be transfered in any other way like in saving the table in Excel format first) only the data is pasted in the spreadsheet?

In that case the user has to enter the field names manually in Excel for every column of data!

If you aren't willing to use the normal way of doing it, yes. But I'm not very familiar with using Excel+Paradox.

Why not just create the spreadsheet from within Paradox?

In analyzing data I have both Paradox and Excel open. I ran many/variants queries and need to copy paste the results of the queries (which are in table form) in the ONE working Excel spreadsheet. And hence a quick copy paste would be the ideal.

Are you saying that I should save each query run result as an Excel file then open that Excel file and then paste the contents, along with the headers, in my ONE working Excel spreadsheet?
