I have a section of my movie I like. I want to reuse it further in the movie. How do I copy and paste it? Do I have to do it all again!? Hope not!

Thanx

Like I said, it is not working...and I don't know what I do wrong. The first thing I tryed is select the frames and ctrl-c/ctrl-v: It's like copying something else like a symbol and then copy it. But I want the sequence to be copied not just the symbole...

thanx

Copy frames, not clipboard copy!

Either select and right click copy frames or ctrl alt c then right click paste frames or ctrl alt v.

Yes you need to highlight all of the frames that you want to copy.

Press Ctrl+Alt+C (Copy frames)

Then, you may need to create a new layer to paste these frames in.

Create a keyframe.

Highlight the key frame (This must be done or you will not be able to copy)

Ctrl+Alt+V (Paste frames)

This process will automatically create new layers and name them accoringly, as to what you copied them from.

Your right, yes you can. I thought that kharpa wanted to copy several layers, not just one. What I was explaining is that if you copy more than one layer of frames (unless you do them separately), Flash will automatically create new layers beneath this, with identicle layer names.
