Hi,

I'm wondering if I can copy a few files of an application to a SMS Collection.
These files are of an application (not of SMS) and need to be copied to 45 workstations under the same partition and directory. They are not executable files and therefore I cannot create a SMS distribution file.

Is any way I can copy such files using the SMS?

Thank you
Yannis

I suggest a simple batch file using the copy command

You could also use the SMS Installer and use the "Install Files" option to install the files into the appropriate places.

This would become an executable that can be distributed as a package/advertisement.

What you can do is:-

Zip the files into an archive and create into a self extracting executable. Then package it with sms.
