Hi
I have a book written in Pagemaker on a Mac in 1992. Before V5.0. - because the converter posted on the Adobe site says it is too old to convert. What version it is, I don't know.
Is there anyway these files can be converted for PC?
Would someone with a Mac machine (ie Printing Company) be able to open such an old set of files?
The diagrams in the book seem to have been created in adobe illustrator - so getting a text version would be a help - but I'd loose the diagrams.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Nescaya

You don't say which version your old PM Mac is, but if it's prior to Ver PM3 then it's not going be easy.

See:

"Adobe PageMaker 7.0 for Mac OS and Windows can import native PageMaker files that were created in PageMaker 4.0 or later for Mac OS and Windows. In addition, you can use the Adobe PageMaker 3.x Converter, which is included with PageMaker 7.0, to convert PageMaker 3.x publications to PageMaker 4.0 publications, which you can then open in PageMaker 7.0. PageMaker 7.0 also supports the import and export formats listed in this document."
