Howdy Folks,
here is my first question to you expert guys. I live in germany and need that solution to create .dxf or .dwg Files for my Plasmacutter.
Important is that I only need an outerline (one line) otherwise my program can`t read it.
Could anyone please explain me step by step how to create that files from a .jpg or any other Graphic format.
I use Corel 12.0
Thanks,
Uwe

JPG is bitmap (bmp/tiff/giff) and will need converting into vector/drawing. You can use Trace but at the moment trace results will need alot of node editing to be accurate or you can use your bitmap as a template and manually draw it, manipulating the nodes. Your drawing need not have a fill but you can set it with a hairline, export finished drawing as dxf or dwg. Some more complicated drawings may not export as expected so some trial and error maybe in order. Goto and if necessary speak to Jim he can help you with conversions, the software available there maybe a far more cost effective method of getting stuff out of Draw if you do alot of this.
