Hi,

I have an ASP page linking to an access database where the user can input a search string.

The succesful returns can be anything from 1 to say 50 or 60.

I do not want all the returns to be displayed on once large screen display! I would like to have 10 on page 1...then an option to view page 2 for the next 10,then page 3 for the next 10..and so on!

I would also like to be able to control the number of characters input for the search. Say a minimum of 4 characters (this would assist to narrow down the succesful returns)

Many thanks

To make sure they input more then 4 characters for the search, I'd use client side JavaScript. As for the return control amount, they have quite a few good examples on Actually, they have examples for both of your questions. Good luck. Darrell Mozingo
